SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT ATS operate with the highest regard of the health & safety procedure of our own personnel and we ensure that our activities do not endanger the safety of nigther site personnel nor local communities. All necessary health safety regulations & measures required have been implemented so as to carry out the work safely & to prevent any accident or incident that may endanger the safety or health of the personnel or may produce any damage to property. Appropriate selection of well trained & experienced personnel who are suitable for the work is the must. They must comply with safety procedures & maintain general safely awareness. Equipments & devices required for carrying out the job and personnel protective equipments (PPE) should be maintained in good condition. ATS personnel health status is being monitored & safeguarded through medical fitness examinations and implementation of strictly safety prevention care measures system. Personnel should have basic knowledge about first aid. HAZARDS:1. Hazards of toxic material using for the job.2. Hazards of vehicle traffic. 3. Hazards of working with tools and equipment which may malfunction. Should be aware of hazards to protect self, company, customer and environment.
SAFE USE OF PESTICIDES:Always use protective equipment, poisoning can be accomplished by mouth, by contact with skin or through inhalation to lungs.
Protective Devices:1. Helmet while working in site, factories etc.2. Gloves 3. Safety shoes and goggles 4. Dusk mask or respirator
Precautions:1. Keep pesticides in properly labelled container.2. Never smoke or eat while using pesticides. 3. Avoid inhaling spray or dust (use protective clothing). 4. Avoid getting sprays or dust on skin or clothing of accidental spills occur, renew clothing and wash skin immediately with soap and water. Wash the clothing thoroughly before wearing again and clean up the spill immediately. 5. Wash head and face after using pesticides. Take a bath and put on clean cloth. 6. If symptoms of illness occur during shortly after using pesticides, call physician. Protecting Public:Pesticides should use with care and applied only in areas where necessary and permitted, and only when they can be expected to provide safe, effective control.1. Never use pesticides in any manner other than instructed. 2. Keep all pesticides out of reach of children. 3. Keep all materials properly labelled and locked. 4. Always use the proper mixture while diluting. 5. Advising customers about precautions such as children and pets off treated area.
Vehicle:1. Drive defensively2. Brakes, lights, tires, wind shield wipers should be checked on regular basis. 3. Park the vehicle in allowed areas 4. Roll up the windows and lock the vehicle
Protecting Customer: 1. Keep equipment in good condition so that accident do not occur2. Wipe off your shoes before entering 3. Place service kit and sprayer so that they are not tripped over or attract children 4. Choose the proper pesticides for the job first by making and adequate inspection 5. Do not contaminate food, dishes or utensils. 6. Be careful while moving through the premises to prevent bumping furniture as scratching wheels with equipment.7. Do not use any electric equipment which are not safe. THE ENVIRONMENT: Protect the environment from the misuse of pesticides. Use pesticides which is less persistent and non accumulative.1. Avoid spraying around bird baths, fish ponds, bee hives or dog/cat food and water containers.2. properly dispose unused pesticides and containers rinse water should not get into streams.3. Use pesticides as directed for not to injure plants, animals. 4. Never pour pesticides or rinsed into public water system or lakes and stream.
Safety handling:1. Keep the container close always.2. Do not keep pesticides under direct sunlight or heat. 3. Do not throw away containers. Dispose it properly. 4. If there is a major spills, use absorbent material such as rags, sand dust or sand. |
