We would like to indicate the harm human beings can suffer as a result of the presence of such pests in or around work and dwelling sites for which a Pest Control Program should be a crucial and integral components of any maintenance / health program instituted.

The presence of all indicated pest is highly undesirable, causes concern, affects morale, indicate unsanitary conditions.

Cockroaches are disease vectors, transmit typhoid, dysentery, diarrhoea, trachoma, etc... They produce bad odorous, cause allergies cause food poisoning, ruin stored  foods.   They reproduce rapidly (once in every 30 days each female produces outdo 1500 eggs). Once they gain entry into a premise they rapidly infest the kitchen, food stores and drains, a cockroach in a bed room indicates a huge infestation. 

Crawling insects such as beetles, crickets, etc....are a source of nuisance. They destroy property such as wood, paper furniture.

Ants destroy food stores, cause irritating bites, traveling over all types of surfaces.  They are important disease vectors carpenter ants cause as much damage as termites, ruin landscapes. 

Rodents such as rats, mice and gophers are filthy, reproduce every 26 days, intelligent nocturnal.  they are vectors of plague, typhus fever, rabies, ferocious when cornered, dangerous to handle, transmit bed bugs and fleas. 

Destructive: Destroy grain products along with almost all food products destroy paper products, gnaw electric cable and cause electric fires and power failures.  May cause more damage to computer systems than a man with a sledge hammer can.  Can penetrate any structure (a rat was found gnawing at the lead drain trap of a wash basin on the ninth floor of the American University Hospital of Beirut).

Stray dogs and cats are  a nuisance, attack personal pets, attack man, transmit rabies, spread  ecto-parasites, disease vectors of hydatidosis and digestive tract worms.

Scorpions are not insects they belong to class Scorpionedae of phylum Arthropod, they can be killed by some specialized insecticides only, they can be found in places with a lot of water, laundry rooms, pools, underlies bark, rocks or wet rags, also in news paper or magazine stacks.  Their sting ranges from painful to deadly.

Silverfish; a small white or gray wingless insect, they feed on dried beef, flour, starch, cotton, sugar, glue, paper, paste, linen, some synthetic fibbers, they are mainly a nuisance but can cause damage to files and clothes.

Spiders are not insects, they are beneficial arthropods as they trap and consume insects, they are  a nuisance because of their webs.  Some spiders may cause painful bites, these are present in the Kingdom.

Flies, blowflies, mosquitoes, fruit flies are a nuisance, they are dangerous pest to the well being of man vectors of diseases such as yellow fever, malaria, dengue, filariasis, encephalitis etc.... They are fast breeders(one female fly will hatch about 600 eggs when it reaches sexual maturity 3 days from birth, each egg will hatch 24 hours later to start a new cycle) flies lay their eggs on any type of food source which is fermenting, mosquitoes lay their eggs on still water surfaces, or on vegetation leaves and stems. 

Bed bugs, ecto-parasites are blood suckers, some have irritating painful bites but are harmless otherwise some are harmless otherwise some are vectors of diseases such as anthrax, plague, tularemia, yellow fever, undulant fever, typhus fever etc.... some cause loss of body hair as they bore into the hair follicle and feed on it and surrounding dermis.
