What's involved in a pest inspection? - A ‘thorough check' is done of all common high risk areas such as the kitchen and bathroom, roof void, subfloor area, the house perimeter, cracks and crevices.
- Other areas such as in garden rockeries, garden furniture, fences, paths, sheds and under pot plants will all be checked.
- Pest controllers will report on areas checked, identify the pest and the extent of the infestation, and point out any active and old infestations.
- Suggest an action plan, which may include both chemical and non-chemical options.
- Give advice on preventative strategies that can be undertaken to stop pests from re-entering your house.
- Outline what follow-up treatment or monitoring may be necessary.
